My journey is one of personal experience, professional expertise, and a deep passion for empowering you to move better and feel better :)
My love for fitness ignited at the age of 17, teaching everything from Spin and BodyPump to Pilates and HIIT, and continued as I navigated a successful corporate career as a National Marketing Executive. It was then I understood the juggle – of endless to-do lists, and the constant pressure to balance career, life, and of course parenthood.
I discovered how challenging it is for most people to find time for fitness that actually makes you feel good, not more exhausted!
But it wasn't until I navigated the challenges of postpartum recovery (after the births of my three beautiful children) – dealing with abdominal separation plus adrenal fatigue; that I truly understood the disconnection between mainstream fitness advice - especially how the majority of fitness (and nutrition) programs have been created, based on male biomechanics. This means female physiology including every changing hormones and body are often overlooked.
You see, I've been there.
I've experienced the frustration of sifting through misinformation to find workouts that truly support healing and are sustainable to long-term well-being.
That's why I sought out mentorship from renowned women's health physiotherapists and combined that knowledge with my 20+ years of experience of training incredible clients of all ages and abilities.
What I witnessed was transformative.
Whether working with pregnant women, new mothers, dedicated husbands, couples working from home or individuals in their 80s recovering from hip replacements - was that the power of holistic deep core and whole-body functional training was undeniable.
I knew I had to share these proven techniques with as many people as possible.
Because here's the truth: You are not alone. And you can transform your life to enjoy an active, pain-free existence, regardless of your age, stage of motherhood, or fitness level.
My method ditches the common cues like "draw belly button to spine", "feel the burn" and "no pain, no gain".
I've seen firsthand how this approach can exacerbate symptoms like ongoing inflammation, pelvic floor dysfunction, and elevated cortisol. Alternatively I have seen many women be given prescriptive lists of "what they can't do" (especially as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause). These scenarios ultimately result in very confused individuals who abandon exercise and miss out on a lifetime of health benefits.
That's why I've been featured in publications like Mamamia, Women's Health and Fitness Magazine, and the Sydney Morning Herald's Body+Soul, voicing these outdated practices and advocating for more evidence-based, modern movement education. Plus essential certifications for coaches and "fit-influencers" within an ever growing unregulated fitness and media industry.
I personally instruct all my group classes and private sessions, guiding you through every exercise with modifications to suit your unique needs and energy levels.
